Zerushikyo

Ohai! I’m Shannon aka zerushikyo! You can call me Zeru/Zoo or Shan~ I’m a 30-ish year-old gamer from South Mississippi. I started streaming in July 2022 playing a lot of FFXIV while doing endgame raids with friends! Slowly I have moved to other RPGS while still bringing in some FFXIV content~

Lately my community has joined me in going through some games in my backlog both on Steam & Switch. I have a soft spot for any JRPGs/RPGs but love playing multiplayer games too. Aside from video games I also play Dungeons & Dragons on the weekends and build Gunpla!

I get distracted easily so be prepared for a bit of chaos and shenanigans when you come visit~

Tyler_TCG

Hey! My name is Tyler Dolack – mainly known as – Tyler_TCG. I am a 25 year old streamer from the great state of New York with a passion for both content creation as well as the Yu-GI-Oh Trading Card Game. I have been streaming for about 3 years now.

I am a recent graduate of Western Connecticut University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theater Management.

I have been playing Yu-Gi-Oh ever since I was a little kid, at first it was a fun hobby that I had with some friends, but back then, we didn’t really know how to play. As the years went on, I learned about the competitive side of the game. I fell in love with it even more and decided right  then and there I would become the best player I can be. I spent hours on end just sitting with my friends theory crafting new deck ideas and card choices and endless play-testing.  I attended every weekly tournament I could in order to hone my skills against some of the best players in my area. Every loss I faced turned into a learning experience – I would talk to my opponent in order to get a better understanding of what I could have done better.

In 2016, I attended my first regional tournament and it went about how I expected it to as a first time participant. Even though my results were not what I wanted, I did not let this discourage me. This experience fuelled my drive to get invited to the national tournament and show my skills – until 2020 when the pandemic hit, but, luckily there are many online simulators that allow players to play online.  I tested everyday for about 5 hours a day with friends, while also participating in online tournaments, eagerly awaiting the day that in-person tournaments would return. It was then that I discovered live-streaming – this was a way to spread my love for the game while helping people that used to play the game to get back into it. I wanted to be a positive influence to the community while keeping people socially connected through a common love while we were in isolation.

The turning point came with the release announcement of Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel as the new way to play Yu-Gi-Oh.  I was working at the local card shop where I would play weekly. This allowed me to meet new players that I have never seen before walk into the store to start their journey into the game. The most fulfilling aspect of working there was learning that the common thread with us is one game that refueled someone’s passion for the game.

Some of my proudest accomplishments included attending a regional tournament in Edison, New Jersey in late 2022.  After 10 long rounds of playing, I was able to secure 34th place out of 550 people, which earned me an invitation for the National Tournament and to play against the best in the country.  Even though I earned my invite, I knew I could do better, so I kept practicing and improving my game.  I attended a regional tournament in Hartford, Connecticut finishing 12th place out of 350 people.  Currently, my goal is to top nationals and make my way to the world championship.

When I was asked to join RSG, I was over the moon excited because I never thought I would be asked to join this team. My life has changed so much in the past couple of months. At first, I didn’t know what to think, but seeing where I am now, I couldn’t be happier with accomplishments, and am very excited to see where this journey will take me.

If you ever come by my stream, I can promise you that you are in for a great time. I’m either gonna be screaming about how bad I am at Fortnite or you’ll see me laser focused on a Yu-Gi-Oh match. I am extremely high energy and very welcoming. The best thing to ever happen to me since I started streaming the best thing ever to me was making all my friends. I have to give the biggest shoutout to my friend, and someone I see as my mentor, Killem Gillam. She has inspired me to be the best creator I can be and I can not thank her enough. My biggest goal as a content creator is to spread the love of both Yu-Gi-Oh and being able to inspire and help people.

I always say it was a successful day if I am able to cheer them up by just being me – a happy and free spirited person with energy that can make everyone happy.

GreaseMonkeyGamer

Hello there, I’m Jason otherwise known as GreaseMonkeyGamer or Grease. I am a 38 years old, father of 4 amazing kids, born and raised in Michigan.  I work as an ASE Master Certified Auto Mechanic and I am amateur Voice Actor known for some of my character voice impersonations of Kermit the Frog, Stitch and the Grinch to name a few.

I’ve been playing video games for the last 34 years and I don’t see that ending anytime soon. I play nearly any genre of video game but retro games, and JRPGs have a large spot in my heart. For the last 2.5 years I’ve been steaming on Twitch and have loved every step of this journey so far. What started my journey on streaming was joining a Pokemon Draft League and me recording my matches. From there I began to revisit some old favorite games to relive some good memories and to work on some of my voice acting skills.

You can catch me Wednesday nights at 10pm EST and Sunday mornings at 10am EST  on Twitch.

RageOC

I go by Rage, RageOC, or simply the step daddy you wish you had.

I am a streamer located in the Southwest United States. I am a father, step father, dog father and excellent ex-husband with a loving girlfriend that definitely reminds me just how lucky I am. I spend my days playing games inside while I avoid using the diving pool outside my office window. I can see it and that’s close enough.

I started streaming on Twitch about a year and a half ago because hitting 40 with no hobbies other than “watching my shows” felt weird. Now, I stream 5 days a week on Twitch and play an absolute variety of games. From shooters to ARPGs, from RPGs to roguelikes… I have probably played that game. Did I finish it you ask? Now.. see, that’s an interesting question and well, we don’t answer that. And yes, I definitely preordered that next big game coming out without even thinking of finishing games sitting in my library. I am an ADHD adult and I never shy away from viewing this as a super power, rather than a detriment, although the number of energy drinks I consume to keep it in check may be a detriment to my wallet.

So, if grey beard strokes, bad jokes, mediocre gameplay across all the games under the sun and an endless supply of “What was I just doing?” remarks are just your thing, come by, maybe –  “stay a while and listen.”

*Also I just wanted to add that I myself have been apart of the competitive community for a long time now so I’m aware of how toxic it can be, we are doing the complete opposite here. Its totally fine to banter with each other, shit talk, shoot bodies, and all those types of things BUT one thing we will not tolerate is personal attacks on someone. What I mean by this is if you want to shoot bodies and call people trash then go right ahead but there is a ZERO tolerance of personal attacks, such as bringing up someone’s personal life, appearance, family, racism, or anything serious along those terms. We are aware that there is a lot of money on the line and tension will rise but at the end of the day we want everyone to have fun and get better as the season goes, we DO NOT want people to be turned away from the league or competitive community as a whole because of a few bad apples. So please keep the banter COD or in game related only! We do not want a toxic league.
